Enhancing Events, Festivals and Gatherings with Candid Photos

What We Do

Our Company, Macro Mobile Marketing LLC, is pleased to provide an exciting new service to event coordinators and organizers, to wedding, gathering and party planners. We are taking an old idea, resurrecting it and improving on it. We are using today’s technology to make the idea so much better and so much more valuable. Our service is a form of crowd sourcing by cell phone.

We help event coordinators, party and wedding planners make a unique service available to their customers. Through this service, any group organizers are able to provide their customers with candid photos and short videos taken by actual individuals attending their events.

Allow me to give you a brief explanation of the crowd sourcing service. Though there is a lot more than meets the eye going on behind the scenes, here is the 30,000 foot view.

This paragraph refers to event coordinators who have vendors at their events. Event coordinators will be able to offer the following service to all their vendors: vendors will receive five to ten candid photos of their displays as well as comments about how the display appeared to the person taking the photos. Each person taking photos will upload the photos directly from their phones to a website. From there, our company will collate the photos for each vendor and send the photos for each of the vendors to download. Each vendor will also receive comments made by the person who took the photos.

Though similar to the concept for event planners with vendors, the goal of party and wedding planners is different. For instance, a wedding couple might like to have candid photos or short videos of guests enjoying themselves at their reception. Wedding planners can offer our service, which will allow photos and/or short videos to be uploaded directly from guests’ phones to a website along with personal comments. From there, our company will collate all the images and personal comments and send them to the wedding couple. The process would be similar for someone who would like candid photos/videos taken at a party.

After your customers have downloaded the photos, videos and comments sent to them, they are free to print, copy, share or delete them as they wish. Business owners will be pleased to have candid photos to include in their social media posts, and wedding customers will be able to enjoy unposed photos/videos of people who attended their wedding.

This service does not displace the role of the professional photographer or videographer at an event. Rather, it supplements it. Images recorded on cell phones will generally not be of the same quality as those done by a professional. But what they will have is a personal touch that a professional cannot capture. And that’s simply because he or she does not know about the personal relationships of people at the event and what those relationships mean to the person(s) requesting the images.

There are a few ways a wedding couple can get photos of their wedding besides using a professional photographer or the method I am suggesting here. Some wedding and event venues provide photo booths for guests to take photos, but there are drawbacks. All the photos are limited to one setting, one backdrop, and a minimal number of guests per photo. Sometimes guests might individually send photos they have taken at the wedding to the wedding couple, but it becomes a nightmare for the couple to organize the photos. What I propose in my crowd sourcing method resolves the above problems.

We would be delighted to demonstrate the system, whether you are an event organizer or a wedding or party planner.
